OUR STORY

Qvevri (pronounced as “Que-vri” (ქვევრი)) was founded to put Georgia's wine heritage on the US map. Georgia invented the wine but it the most unexplored gem for wine lovers. Our mission is to increase awareness about the unique wine heritage Georgia has cultivated for 8 millennia. With more than 500 indigenous grape types, unique wine-making technique, and over 20 terroir, Georgia offers distinguished wines that will be a pleasant surprise for wine connoisseurs.

We partner with family-owned wineries and focus on natural wines made from indigenous Georgian grapes, utilizing the world's oldest "Qvevri" winemaking technique. We are helping small, family wineries in Georgia to expand their unique wine-making traditions.
